Description
Deborah began working in the fields of addiction and dual diagnoses more than 30 years ago. She graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in Psychology and completed a master’s program at Appalachian State University in Clinical Psychology. Later, Deborah graduated from UNC-CH with a Masters in Social Work. She has had extensive training and experience with family systems, addiction, dual diagnoses, expressive arts, grief/bereavement, clinical supervision, and relapse prevention. Deborah works with individuals who are dealing with depression, anxiety, substance use problems, and issues with life transitions. She holds certificates and/or licenses in social work, addictions, bereavement and clinical supervision and enjoys creative challenges. Deborah utilizes an innovative approach with each of her clients that emphasizes individuality, personal growth and change.
