Ashley Nicole Cross Claim

I have over 10 years of experience working with children and families. My approach consists of a cognitive behavioral modality with am emphasis on behavior modification, trauma and psychoanalysis. I seek to understand how a person’s thought pattern influences his or her behavior. I work with each of my client’s to find out what works best for them. I am well suited working with children, women and men of all ages. I teach clients breathing techniques, relaxation and imagery skills so they can feel more embodied, calm and able to cope with life. I look forward to working with you.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of NC, SC, GA, VA and FL. I also hold an associate license as a License Clinical Addictions Specialists in the State of NC. I value building a supportive alliance that is based on honesty and frank communication.

I have received excellent training thru the National Association of Social Workers and the Association of Social Work Board. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from NC A&T State University with a concentration in Social Work and Master’s Degree with a concentration in Social Work from the University of South Carolina at Columbia.
